Shhhhh Don’t Tell Anyone Else, But The Secret Is….

Hard work!

There is no magic formula to success. There is not going to be a get rich quick road to success. People ask me all the time what the secret to profit is. It almost offends me. Do they think I am stupid? Lazy? I know I read too much into it. There is no secret and I have not discovered the formula to end poverty.

I work. Hard. Very hard. I read books and blogs and forums and then I get out and put some elbow grease into my business. I do the things other sellers are too lazy to do or not business savvy enough to do. I embrace mistakes and see them as learning experiences. I work 16 hour days nearly 7 days a week.

I know you saw the title of this blog and expected the secret recipe to Bush’s Baked Beans, but I am afraid to say it is still locked in a vault somewhere in Wisconsin.

You will not get ahead doing the same things all of the people in the past have already done. What will keep you ahead of the game is constantly reinventing your online presence. Keep coming up with new product lines, new marketing, new pricing strategies. When something works, keep it. When it doesn’t work or stops working, be driven enough to change it. I see so many people fail because they expected it to be easy. They had business models that were, at one time working, but are no longer working. Here’s an idea. Stop complaining about it and DO something about it.

I know it sounds harsh, but it is the truth. The secret is determination and ambition and innovation and…

Hard work!

How old are you? You are wise beyond your years. How fortunate are we to have such a wise woman among us.
