Here Comes The Bride!

10 Aug

I guess I need to get better when it comes to posting things when they happen. My moms wedding was about a month ago and I have yet to post about it. But, without further delay here is my post about her insanely wonderful wedding!

My husband was great and took about a million pictures the day of her wedding and I didn’t want to bombard the blog with every single one of them so I painstakingly chose 11 pictures that get the honor of making this blog. By the way, my OCD is going NUTS because it is 11 pictures and not an even ten. That’s how much I love every single picture I chose.

Isn’t she insanely beautiful?! Brad is one lucky man!

The wedding party. There were a number of people taking pictures. In hindsight we probably should have done it one camera at a time to avoid people looking in all different directions. Oops.

Both the little ones took their duties very seriously. Nikkos had been practicing his ring bearer duty for months. Literally. Also, notice the gaudy rings that were attached to his pillow. I don’t think hes quite old enough for the real deal yet. He didn’t seem to care.

Here comes the bride!

Shes even beautiful when she’s crying!

This pretty much sums up how happy everyone was that day. By the way, my grandpa was the officiant đŸ™‚

The kiss

The bouquets I made. Twine and hot glue were my friends the night before.

His first duty as an official grandpa was to console one very sleepy flower girl.

Cheers to the happy couple! Notice again the gaudy rings. They had to humor my son.

One of very few pictures we got of the reception. By the way this burlap sign cost me about $5 to make and I am really happy with the way it turned out. I will have to make a tutorial on how to make it sometime.

It was a beautiful wedding and I am so happy that my mom found a man who gives her everything she ever wanted in life. Even the weather was perfect that day. I don’t think anyone could have asked for a more perfect day!
